The Golden Rule in Various Religions

The Golden Rule
Christianity: All things whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them.
Judaism: What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellowmen.This is the entire Law.  The rest is commentary.          
Islam: No one is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself.
Buddhism: Hurt not others that you yourself would find hurtful.
Hinduism: This is the sum of duty: Do not to others which if done to you would cause pain.
Confucianism: Surely it is the maxim of loving kindness: Do not unto others that you would not have them do to you.
Taoism: Regard your neighbor’s gain as your own gain, and your neighbor’s loss as your own loss.
Anton’s follow up question:
If you wouldn’t like it done to you, why would you act out any of the following towards another?
Revenge, Greed or some other form of Selfishness, Stealing, Physical Abuse, Hurtful Words or just plain ole’ Thoughtlessness and Inconsideration

that include the Golden Rule:

Brahmanism: This is the sum of duty: Do naught unto others which would cause you pain if done to you.
Jainism: In happiness and suffering, in joy and grief, we should regard all creatures as we regard our own self, and should therefore refrain from inflicting on others such injury as would appear undesirable to us if inflicted upon ourselves.
Sikhism:  As you judge yourself, so judge others. Then shall you become a partner in heaven.
Zoroastrianism:  That nature only is good when it shall not do unto another is not good for its own self.
